Tom Kortisses

Director of Aviation Materials and Records

Ratings: A&P, IA

As a kid, Tom always loved to take things apart and put things back together. It drove his mom nuts. When Tom was in high school, he went to a job fair and found the A&P program. It seemed like a fascinating career that would be more challenging than any other type of mechanic. He’s been on this track ever since.

Tom has 20+ years of experience in maintaining general aviation and corporate aircraft. Specifically, 15+ years experience in Beechcraft products from a Debonair to a Hawker. In the last 5 years or so, Tom has been increasing focus on the operational side of maintenance, through things like planning, documentation, and logistics.

Tom spends most of his free time with his wife and two sons. Together, they are all active in the Boy Scouts of America and also enjoy woodworking, camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing.
