Tom enlisted in the United States Navy right out of high school, and his time there inspired him to continue in aviation.

For 20 years, Tom worked in Naval Aviation Maintenance as an Aviation Electronics Technician. He also worked for several years in the experimental department at Cirrus Aircraft and was with WipAire for nearly a decade.

Tom enjoys time with his family, and outdoor hobbies including biking and hiking.
